www.mtaloy.edu Cresson, PA - Mount Aloysius College presented the Seventy-First Annual Commencement Convocation Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 1:30 pm STUDENT WELCOME Mr. Charles R. Mastervich 2011 Graduate Mr. Charles Mastervich of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, at a young eighty-one years of age, will graduate with a Bachelor of Professional Science in Behavioral and Social Science. Mr. Mastervich served his county during the Korean conflict; and following an honorable military discharge, he studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University) Family obligations prevented him from completing his degree at that time. He and his late wife provided for the education of their three sons. After retirement from a forty-one year career at the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, Mr. Mastervich decided to resume his undergraduate studies. He is actively involved in numerous community activities including: Cambria County Redevelopment Authority, St. Gregory's Catholic Church, and Johnstown Point Stadium Award Committee.
